Reasonable Fees & Value
The biggest misconception is that CPAs charge more than tax preparers like H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt, Liberty Tax and other similar tax preparation companies. The truth is that the average fee these tax preparers charge for individual tax returns (Form 1040, Sch C, etc) range from $100 to over $500. Most Americans don't realize that CPAs charge the same or even less for the same returns, therefore, for the same fee you get superior services and the peace of mind that your accountant is a qualified professional. Yes, CPAs sometimes may charge higher fees, but only when the benefits outweigh the costs. Don't take our word, get educated and learn more about Certified Public Accountants and the strict ethical and education standards that they are subject too. Please free to visit the AICPA, FICPA and IRS websites in order to confirm this.
Our Competitors
Besides the high fees that a company like H&R Block may charge you. Did you know that in 2009, H&R Block had over 500 complaints logged into the Better Business Bureau for offering one thing and giving another?
When it comes to taxes, many Americans are losing money by trying to get convenience tax filing through companies like H&R Block, Jackson Hewitt and Liberty Tax, who advertise that they can get their customers' tax refunds within just two days instead of two weeks if filed by a CPA. But just as an item at a convenience store, it has a premium price; this price can sometimes be more the $100, which is in addition to their tax preparation fees.
